Kenny Kicks Off 2010 With a Pair of Top Tens in Tucson

The 2010 racing season is just around the corner, and Kenny kicked it off early at the Wild West Shootout, a multi-day dirt racing event at USA Racaway in Tucson, Arizona, from January 15-17.Kenny kicked off his races in the event Friday night by finishing 8th in the A-Main for the Modified division. More than 40 cars competed for 24 starting spots each night. On Saturday night, Kenny finished sixth (with 50 cars entered). Kenny finished out the weekend on Sunday night with a third straight appearance in the A-Main, finishing 15th.
Kenny reports that he had a great time, and that he will be racing at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida, in the Dirt Car Nationals in the UMP Modified division. His dirt cars will have a new look in 2009.
“I’m pleased to announce my new dirt car sponsor, Federated Auto Parts,” says Kenny. “We’ll be running a special black paint scheme in Volusia to start off the season. This is a new personal sponsor for me.
