The NASCAR Nationwide Series is in the Lone Star State this weekend, and with just three races remaining in the 2009 season, the battle for a top ten points finish is heating up.  Kenny is currently 13th in points, but just 65 markers out of tenth.  The No. 28 is also 20th in car owner points, and the U.S. Border Patrol team is on a mission to hold that spot-the top 20 in points all get a piece of NASCAR’s point fund, money that would be valuable to Kenny’s whole team.

Texas Motor Speedway is one of two 1.5-mile tracks remaining on the schedule.  Kenny has one top ten finish in eleven starts at the Fort Worth track, with an average finish of 25th and a best finish of ninth. His best start is 16th.  Kenny starts 29th on Saturday.
